Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid (BIEWA) operates a shopping and cleaning service exclusively for older people living in Belle Isle. We also keep a list on 'Known & Trusted' suppliers of services to older people. Please ring if you need any advice.

Shopping
We run occasional shopping (non food )trips for people who cannot get out to the shops themselves. Escorts and a wheelchair accessible minibus are available for these trips.

Extend Exercise
A chair based exercises class is held every Monday morning at the 59 Centre. The volunteer instructor, Ruth Linley, has successfully completed a 13 week training course and is qualified as an Extend Instructor. This is a very popular group and places are limited.
